Each year before school starts we get together with the Lonergan family for our “Back to School Breakfast.”  It started out years ago when our good friend Jenny Doherty lived in KC and we would meet at a park, bring our breakfast, take pics of all of our kiddos, discuss who we got for teachers, and talk about the upcoming school years’ activities.  Jenny has since moved away to Texas (boo!) and Cara and I are trying our hardest to continue the tradition.  This is not an easy task with these two busy families!  But WE DID IT!  We met on Sunday morning for breakfast which really was lunch (the kids like to tease us that it’s not really breakfast).  Cara’s kids have already been in school about a week longer than us so we technically didn’t get it in before school started but the point is, we got it in and we had fun!  Wishing all of you an amazing school year!  And stop growing up please!
