Hi, I’m back! ~ West Palm Beach, FL

I was recently told by my dearest family members that they miss my blog posts! I’m not sure if I should be flattered or feel terrible that I’ve fallen short on my writing. I have no excuse other than I feel like life with teenagers is just flat out hard and consumes every bit of me most days. Not to mention I’ve been traveling a ton, remodeling bathrooms, and keeping up on the holiday madness and birthdays. By the way, why didn’t anyone mention my beloved home was going to start completely falling apart at 20 years of age!? Now I see why people move frequently.

I’m currently in Boynton Beach, FL with Jake at a Hurricane Jr Golf event at Westchester Country Club. The “Sunshine State” is failing us at the moment as I was wearing a puffer coat all day and Jake succumbed to the cold and put his hood up during the practice round.

A pretty course but oddly designed according to Jake. It consists of 3 9-hole courses and we are playing Red and Gold (Go Chiefs!). We played with another young competitor from NJ and two nice gentlemen that probably would’ve preferred not being paired with us (a local club member and his friend from NC). We hit the courtyard Marriott lobby for breakfast and some relief from back pain in the hot tub before heading to the course. Thursday was a somewhat long travel day so we grabbed a cheeseburger and called it a night upon arrival.
