I’m super happy to report that we managed to get our our annual back to school breakfast on the books with the Lonergan family!  Generally we don’t have margaritas at breakfast so it was actually a dinner.  Last year I think we ended up having lunch and next year it will end up being a midnight snack–just wait!  It’s so incredibly hard to get two busy families together!  We’ve literally been doing this for years so I was not giving up.  You guys know me, I’m very determined.  We are supposed to do this before school actually starts, but I gave myself until October 1st to get this accomplished and it’s only September 10th…woo hoo!  Success!

This is a flashback from our first year doing this in 2009…Our good friend and sorority sister, Jenny, used to join us but she lives in TX now so we are down three kids.  But we did gain Reece in 2010 (she could count as 3, ha!)  Miss you Doherty’s!

My kids have been so excited for this occasion and we always have fun no matter if it’s breakfast, lunch, or dinner.  There’s never a dull moment with this crew.  Somehow Drew’s flip flops managed to get thrown on the roof of the restaurant and they were too expensive to part with.  This is Brian hoisting Jake on the roof to retrieve them.What is it with this family and things getting chucked on roofs!?  Remember this from our 2016 Arizona trip?I can’t believe how grown up all of these kids are now.  We have 2 in High School, 2 in Middle School, and 3 in elementary school.  Sadly, no more preschoolers or babies 😦
