42 years ago this duo was born in Olathe, KS. I’d like to say we changed the world for the better but I think we might have just made our parents lives double complicated and irritated the heck out of our older sister instead!
Happy Birthday Greg! Happy to share my birthday with you, always. Your haircut is a disaster! And then check me out…MAJOR disaster! Mom, what were you thinking!? It was the 70’s/early 80’s so we get a pass, right!?
This past weekend, my parents squeezed in a fun birthday party for us between baseball and soccer games at which time Greg laughed so hard at one of the cards he received that he might have actually cried. Way to go Hallmark Cards for absolutely making his day!
Yesterday, Morgan and I had a fun day out with her BFF, Emma, whose birthday is June 6th. It was a perfectly beautiful day so we ate outside at the Cheesecake Factory on the Plaza and I proudly showed Morgan where I was engaged in front of the fountain there. We had a great laugh about my ugly outfit, hair, and glasses I was wearing that day. Yikes – you can definitely tell I had no idea the proposal was coming or I would have chosen a little more wisely! And I can’t find the picture to share here so just imagine over-sized clothing, glasses and very blonde hair curled under my chin. UGH!
Thanks Emma & Stacey for inviting us on a fun birthday afternoon! Let’s do it again next year!

Today my only hope is for sweet snuggles from my family and as Reece told me a few weeks ago….”mom if there was a contest for who could hug their mom the most, we would totally win”
And maybe less of “Mom are you tired? You have really bad circles under your eyes” courtesy of Jake last week. I absolutely know he meant that in the nicest way possible and was saying it out of concern, so I choose to smile about it.
Love you guys!
